The Seventh-day Adventist Church, Ekiti Conference has concluded plans to hold a 14-day mega evangelistic crusade tagged “EKITI FOR CHRIST” with the theme “FAITH ON FIRE.”
According to a Press Release issued by the Chairman of the Publicity Sub-Committee, Elder Ogunmola the crusade is scheduled to hold from 25th October to 7th November, 2026 at the Fajuyi Pavilion, Ado-Ekiti by 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM daily.
The release disclosed that renowned evangelist, Dr. Dion Henry will be the Minister for the 14-day spiritual encounter, which promises salvation, healing, revival and hope.
Speaking on the preparations, a prominent member of the church and Chartered Librarian, Elder Ayo Arogundade, CLN said the crusade is divinely orchestrated to bring spiritual rebirth to Ekiti land.
In an interview, Elder Arogundade who is also a Public Affairs Analyst noted that the theme “FAITH ON FIRE” was apt at this time when many are losing hope.
“Ekiti for Christ is not just a crusade, it is a movement. We want the whole of Ekiti to come to the knowledge of Christ. Our faith must be on fire for God. We are inviting everyone in Ado-Ekiti and beyond, irrespective of denomination, to come and experience God,” he said.
Elder Arogundade further called on residents to prepare their hearts as God is set to do great things in Ekiti State.
The church also revealed that top leaders of the church are expected at the occasion, including the President of Ekiti Conference, Pastor Rufus Atokiand his executive members, as well as the leadership of the church in the Western Nigeria Union Conference (WNUC).
The crusade is themed “Hope Starts Here.”
