The Senator representing Ekiti South Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Yemi Adaramodu, has embarked on a project inspection tour across the district.
During his visit to Omuo Oke Ekiti, the Senator commissioned a newly built palace for the community.
In his remarks, the Olomuo Oke of Ekiti, Oba Valentine Adebayo Otitoju, JP, expressed deep appreciation to Senator Adaramodu for the magnificent palace, describing it as a landmark project that will stand as a pride to both the palace and the entire community.
Also speaking, the President of Omuo Oke Progressive Union, Chief Taye Olorunsogbon, and the Youth Leader of the community, Comrade Tajudeen Alaka, commended the Senator for the historic gesture, noting that the new palace is a testament to purposeful representation.
In his goodwill message, Senator Adaramodu recalled that the construction of the palace was one of the promises he made during the 2023 electioneering campaign.
“I told you then that I would not be the kind of politician who makes promises just to win elections and forget them. I assured you that I would give Omuo Oke a befitting palace, and today that promise has been fulfilled,” the Senator said.
He lauded Oba Otitoju as a monarch who loves development and progress, and appreciated the royal father for conferring on him the chieftaincy title of *Akore Wolu of Omuo Oke Ekiti*.
Senator Adaramodu reaffirmed his commitment to delivering more developmental projects across Ekiti South, adding that the new edifice will serve as a proud symbol of unity, culture, and progress for the palace and the community.
