A strategic meeting involving Gov. Seyi Makinde, former Govs. Kayode Fayemi and Olagunsoye Oyinlola, and former President Olusegun Obasanjo was held Sunday in Abeokuta.
The meeting was held earlier on Sunday at Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) in Abeokuta
Makinde said they discussed key national issues ahead of the 2027 elections and sought Obasanjo’s guidance.
The meeting comes amid political realignments, with Makinde flying the APM flag,Oyinlola is a former PDP stalwart, and Fayemi seen distancing himself from the Tinubu-led APC.
