With children currently on holiday and set to resume school in a few weeks, Hon. Mrs. Ehinafe Taiwo has urged parents to be proactive in making provision for their wards ahead of the new academic session.
Speaking on her weekly radio programme, _Ba Wó Ñí Sunday Lọ́ Dọ́ Yíñ_ on Mature Minds Digital Radio, she advised parents to plan early for their children’s needs.
She noted that due to the unstable prices of goods, early preparation would help parents secure essential school items gradually and avoid last-minute pressure.
“Let us prepare ahead for our children. If we buy things gradually now, the rising cost of goods will not weigh us down when school resumes,” she said.
She further encouraged parents to take good care of their wards, especially with the cold weather. She advised them to eat fruits regularly and to always speak positively about themselves, stressing that “our confession is our possession.”
Hon. Taiwo prayed that parents would enjoy the fruits of their labour on their children and wished them many more Sundays to celebrate on earth.
