Today, at the 29th and 30th Convocation Ceremonies of Lagos State University (LASU), we celebrated the hard work and brilliant achievements of our graduating class.
Since this marks my final convocation visit as Governor, I wanted to recognize exceptional dedication by awarding a cash gift of ₦20 million each to our top overall graduating students from the last two academic sessions.
Congratulations to Ayilara Lawal Olawale (Project Management, 4.96 CGPA) for the 2024/2025 session, and Adebanjo Samuel Oluolamide (Aerospace Engineering, 4.97 CGPA) for the 2025/2026 session.
Reaching this height demands relentless focus and both of you have shown exactly what discipline can accomplish. Lagos is deeply proud of you, I am proud of you and my commitment to investing in our youth remains firm through my very last day in office.
To everyone else graduating today, congratulations. You’ve worked very hard and deserve all the accolades.
