During my visit to Egbe Ekiti yesterday, I was saddened to discover that the Maternity Hospital in the community has been locked up for months without health workers.
This is very worrisome, as our pregnant mothers and children are left with no access to primary health care in the community.
I hereby humbly appeal to the Honourable Commissioner for Health, Dr. Oyebanji Filani, to help intervene and ensure the facility is reopened and staffed again. Health is wealth.
I have absolute confidence in Hon. Filani. He has been one of the solid pillars of this administration and has done so much in repositioning our health sector. I appreciate your good works so far, and I believe you will do the needful on this.
