African Action Congress presidential candidate for 2027, Omoyele Sowore, has scored the Bola Tinubu administration an “F9 across all parameters” after three years in office.Speaking on Channels Television’s _The Morning Brief_ on Tuesday, the Sahara Reporters publisher said the government failed in key areas including security, power, education, healthcare, food security and the economy.Asked to name any positive, Sowore said: “Nothing.
”He cited the frequent collapse of the national grid, rising insecurity, and the fact that “we are now asking our children to borrow to go to school.”
On health, he noted “even the president doesn’t go to Nigerian hospitals.” On food, he said the FAO has listed Nigeria among countries needing food aid in 2026. On the economy, he claimed the number of poor Nigerians has doubled from 70 million to 140 million in 3 years.“If Tinubu were my student, I’d ask him to leave the class and go learn somewhere else,” Sowore said.
“As a former teacher, I’d just ask the administration to leave. That would solve it.”When the anchor compared his stance to Peter Obi’s call for Tinubu to retire, Sowore disagreed. “No, I’m not asking him to retire. I’m asking him to go back to school,” he said.Sowore will contest the 2027 election under the AAC, while Tinubu is seeking re-election on the platform of the APC.
