PALACE PAVILION: THE ROLE OF SENATOR BAMIDELE

It has become necessary that facts be stated to refute the mischievous narrative being peddled by certain actors concerning the palace pavilion.

On pavilion, Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele has simply played the role of a patriotic Iyin son, as he has done consistently, to attract funding for the project through the National Assembly.

His role does not extend to seeking a site for the project. The community carries the burden of providing a suitable site within the palace for this project, for the purpose of close proximity. The narrative flying around accusing him of being the instigator of the process to acquire the site for the project is unfounded and untrue.

This clarification does not come with the assumption that those who spread this narrative do it out of ignorance, it is to provide clarity to those who might fall victim of their immature and naive political games.

If the peddlers continue on this ignoble path, it will not be out of place to take necessary steps to ensure they present facts to back up their claims.

Thank you
